W H Smith Business Book of The Month

Double Your Business Book at WHSmith, Heathrow Airport on 18th April 2012A good friend left a voicemail this morning to let me know he was looking at the WHSmith Business Book Of The Month at Heathrow Airport.

He sent a photo from his iphone – Double Your Business getting top billing next to Richard Branson’s book.

The book is getting great reviews on Amazon in the UK and I’m hearing directly back from readers how they are enjoying it, too.

Here’s what one reader, Leesa Robinson, wrote on my business blog, www.leeduncan.com:

I have recently purchased your book and I am enjoying reading and working through it applying your techniques to my business which I am currently expanding.
I like the fact there is no jargon, it gets to the point in a way that I fully understand and can easily follow.
I have already recommended to some friends of mine in business!

My aim in writing the book was really simple – practical business advice to help ordinary businesses achieve fast growth.  It seems to have hit the spot.

Have you spotted the book anywhere in the wild?

Congrats! That’s great, saw it too. How long has it been up as business book of the month?

    • Hi Marianne,

Somehow I missed your comment – my apologies. It was their business book of the month for April this year. I was delighted, obviously!

  2. This not an academic book full of theories and jargon. This is a book written by down to earth businessman to their peers using common sense language and clear practical steps to show you how to get to your destination (double your business) through improvements in finance, purchases, sales, marketing and HR. Very easy to read and worth every penny.

    • Hi Nagi,

I really appreciate your kind feedback.

I think there are enough books with management theory already available. It seems to me that it’s the practical side of things that holds people back, and so I wrote my book to fill that gap.

It’s great to hear that you enjoyed it and your feedback is really gratifying after the work of writing the book!

      Thanks,

      Lee

  3. Hi Lee
I’ve just purchased your book from a bookstore in Adelaide, South Australia (home of the worlds best wines)
